Who am I?

I'm Adam Trac, a Full-stack Web Developer & Game Developer

I've been freelance developing ROBLOX games since I was a highschool freshman, and developing web applications ever since college. Some of the things that I'm pretty proud of doing are recreating one of the oldest beloved games in ROBLOX, and creating a full stack web application that interacts with a Discord Chatbot to help me and others manage gaming backlogs.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Game Development

Unity game development, ROBLOX game development, all done in LUA and C#. Asset creations including animations and modeling are also some things I can do!

June 2019 - July 2019 Cyber Security Intern

As a Cyber Sec intern, I was tasked with helping network engineers in typical security tasks such as inventorying & auditing company-owned devices. I also assisted the help desk with anything they needed!

June 2023 - Sept 2023 Software Engineer Intern

I worked as a full stack developer mainly taking on front-end development. I added animations to components, bugfixed them, and added features as requested from my product manager. Oftentimes I would have to come back and add additional features into the backend codebase to make some features work, and to fulfill requests from my supervisor. What you see on the sign-up page and the main landing page are a decent chunk of my work there!

July 2024 - Aug 2024 Headstarter AI Fellowship

This fellowship was a rigorous, 7-week long program that put me through several different coding projects that taught me how to use newer technologies and better network with those around me.

Choose a Team and Build Their Fort This is an updated version of a ROBLOX game that has existed for almost 20 years! I added a more comprehensive building tool, implemented a vote-kick system, and various other additions that don't take away from the original experience. Oh--and I fixed a lot of bugs. A lot.

The Platinum Experience This was a proof-of-concept implementation of a "time stop" ability that could freeze everything except the player in-place, preserving all physics, including the velocity right before the freeze. I made this back when ROBLOX games were just beginning to figure out how they could realistically put this functionality into a game!

Anan and the Quest for Pizza This was the capstone project for my undergrad game development class. It's a basic collect-a-thon 3D platformer with some fun level design and silly premise. Working with a team of 2 other developers, we put together a small game to honor one of our very beloved friends.
